Account Deletion
This page explains how to delete your Limbarom account and what happens to your data. Limbarom is the developer of the Limbarom mobile application published on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
1. Delete your account in the App
The fastest way is from inside the App:
- Open the App and go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm with "Delete permanently".
- Your account and associated data are deleted immediately. You will be signed out and cannot recover the account.
2. Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the App, send an email to info@limbarom.com from the email address registered to your account with the subject "Account deletion request". We will verify that the request comes from the account owner and delete the account within 7 days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
3. Data that is deleted
- Authentication record (email address, Google or Apple sign-in link) and display name.
- Profile and preferences: native language, Romanian level, gender, reminder and app settings.
- Learning data: completed lessons, stories, vocabulary sets and exams, answers and scores, XP, streaks, daily goals and achievements.
- AI assistant conversations, voice dialogue transcripts and any voice recordings still stored.
- Chat room messages, uploaded photos and support tickets linked to your account.
4. Data that is retained
- Subscription and payment records held by Apple, Google Play or RevenueCat are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law (up to 10 years). We never hold your payment card details.
- Anonymised crash and analytics data collected by Firebase cannot be linked to you after deletion and is retained by Firebase for up to 14 months.
- Information we must keep to comply with a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute, for the period required by law.
5. Deleting data without deleting your account
We currently do not offer partial data deletion inside the App. If you want specific data removed while keeping your account, email info@limbarom.com and we will handle the request within 30 days where legally and technically possible.
